Australian Scholarships aim to promote sustainable development and excellence in education. Scholarships help build mutual understanding between Australia and its Asia-Pacific partners.
Australian Scholarships offer educational and professional development awards to citizens of the Asia-Pacific region. These opportunities support growth in our region and build enduring links at the individual, institutional and country levels.
Awards are available to high achievers from participating countries, as well as for Australians wishing to study overseas.

A variety of educational, research and professional development opportunities are available through three programs:

Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program

Funded by the Government of Japan

Qualified citizens od developing member countries of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), who intend to pursue postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development related field are invited to apply for scholarships under the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program. The program especially welcomes quailed women applicants who have limited financial means to obtain university education.

The Engineering (ICT) International Undergraduate Scholarship offers students the opportunity to obtain an undergraduate qualification at UTS:Engineering. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the student`s year 12 (or equivalent) results. The scholarship is also open to diploma holders.

One student will be selected per semester and the commencement of the scholarship will be the same as the commencement of the student’s Bachelor of Engineering.The closing date is 15 December for students commencing in February and 1 June for students commencing in July. The application form must be submitted together with the International Coursework Application form to either a UTS representative or UTS: International.
