The Faculty of Biological Sciences at the University of Leeds is one of the largest groups of life-science researchers within the UK, and offers superb facilities and a high quality research training environment for all areas including agriculture, animal and plant sciences, biochemistry and molecular biology, bioinformatics, ecology and evolution, genetics, immunology, microbiology, neurosciences, pharmacology and physiology, and structural molecular biology.

The Faculty of Biological Sciences offers a number of scholarships for students who are both resident and currently being educated in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia or Brunei (Nationals of Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia or Brunei paying full overseas fees but resident outside of their home country may apply for the Faculty of Biological Sciences International Scholarships Scheme). The schemes are open to new undergraduate students who commence a programme of study within the Faculty in September 2008.

Sehubungan dengan pelaksanaan seleksi nasional program beasiswa ke Mesir, Maroko, Sudan dan Aljazair serta non beasiswa ke Mesir, dengan hormat kami sampaikan hal-hal sebagai berikut :

PT Bank Lippo Tbk (“LB”), a major investee company of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Malaysia, believes in developing the human capital in the Republic of Indonesia. In this regard, LB is pleased to offer scholarships and financial assistance to deserving Indonesian students who intend to pursue their tertiary education at a university in Indonesia.

Therefore, LB is inviting applications from high school graduates who would like to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree program majoring in Commerce, Finance, Economic, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and Law.

The scholarship grant will be based on the merits of the applicant, including academic grades and school extra-curricular activities. However, to provide opportunities to those who would otherwise have difficulties in financing their tertiary education, special consideration will be given to applications from students that come from a financially disadvantaged family.

The Government of Italy offers scholarships to Indonesian citizens wishing to pursue their studies in Italy. The selection is held annually by a Selection Committee consisting of competent authorities and expert representing both Italy and Indonesia. This Scholarship grants are distributed for students, professionals, teachers, and artists who meet the necessary requirements for enrollment in any Italian post-secondary institutions (universities, academies, conservatories, art restoration institutes, National School of Cinematography, research centers or laboratories, libraries, archives, museums and other national or nationally-recognized institutions), and who would like to attend specialization courses or to conduct research in specific fields. For Italian language study, the scholarships are awarded for specific programs which are held at the Universities for Foreigners in Perugia, Siena and Roma Tre or at the other recognized institutions (which are authorized to issue certification of Italian as a second language).

Dalam rangka rekrutment mahasiswa baru sekaligus menarik minat masyarakat untuk mendalami fisika maka Program Studi Fisika - Fakultas Sains Dan Matematika, UKSW memberikan Bantuan Pendidikan bagi mahasiswa baru yang dipandang perlu mendapat bantuan sekaligus memenuhi kualifikasi. Dana Bantuan Pendidikan berupa pembebasan biaya kuliah 1 tahun penuh.

Adapun prosedurnya adalah :
1. Calon mahasiswa mendaftar baik secara langsung maupun online ke Panitia Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru UKSW (http://www.uksw.edu/admission/default.asp)
2. Memenuhi syarat-syarat sesuai yang disebutkan.
3. Membuat lamaran (dengan tulisan tangan) yang berisi Latar belakang dan motivasi belajar fisika, alasan pengajuan Bantuan Pendidikan, CV,dan Surat Ijin Orang Tua.
