The Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund (MMMF) awards educational grants to women from developing countries whose graduate studies and future plans aim to benefit women and children in their respective regions. Commitment to this goal is an essential selection criterion.
The Fund is staffed mostly by volunteers and is affiliated with the World Bank Family Network. Many World Bank spouses volunteer yearly to raise funds for these grants.

Beasiswa S2 | Canada | Kanada | Postgraduate ScholarshipThe University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, is seeking a graduate student at the PhD level in urban climatology/micrometeorology. The position is part of a collaborative research network on ‘Environmental Prediction in Canadian Cities’ (EPiCC) funded by the Canadian Foundation for Climate and Atmospheric Sciences (CFCAS). The successful PhD candidate will receive three years of full-time support at a yearly minimum rate of CAD 18300 with a possibility to extend to 4 years through internal funding.
The research will involve eddy covariance measurements and modeling of energy, water and carbon exchange between urban environments and the atmosphere.
